Mommy Makeover Case 1 (5676)

This 43 year-old woman from the McAllen, Texas area presented to my cosmetic surgery clinic for a Mommy Makeover (Breast Augmentation with Tummy Tuck). She is 4’11” tall and weighed 152 pounds. As part of her Mommy Makeover we performed a breast augmentation with 445cc Allergan Inspira moderate plus profile silicone gel implants placed in a dual-plane subpectoral position (under the muscle). She also required a Vertical LeJour Mastopexy (breast lift) to correct her Grade 3 breast ptosis (droopy breasts). During the same procedure, we also performed a complex abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) to excise her excess skin and also plicate her diastasis recti (tighten her abdominal muscles). We also performed additional VASER liposuction throughout her upper abdomen, waist, flanks and back to optimize her body contour and avoid any “dog ears”. She did not want any fat transfer to her butt. She was a 36D and is now a 36DD, and her weight is down to 143 pounds. This 40 year-old woman from the McAllen, Texas area presented to my cosmetic surgery clinic for a Mommy Makeover (Breast augmentation with Tummy Tuck). She is 5’1” tall and weighed 120 pounds. The patient was very concerned with her umbilical hernia, which we repaired as part tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with plication of her diastasis recti (stretched abdominal muscles). Patient also desired breast augmentation to restore fullness to her breasts, but wanted to avoid any scarring on her breasts. She did not require a breast lift and was a good candidate for the TransAbdominoplasty Silicone Breast Augmentation (TASBA) procedure. We placed Mentor 350cc High-Profile silicone gel implants in the submuscular position (under the muscle). She was a 32A and is now a 32C. Her results are shown only 3 months after her surgery!

Mommy Makeover – Revision Breast Lift with Implants & Complex Extended Lower Abdominoplasty with a Floating Navel Technique

This 39 year-old woman from the Mission, Texas area presented to my cosmetic plastic surgery clinic requesting a redo breast lift and redo liposuction to her abdomen. She is 5’7” tall and weighed 155 pounds. She had recently undergone a breast reduction by a general plastic surgeon in the area, and she was very unhappy with her results. She had also previously undergone liposuction to her abdomen in Mexico several years prior and was unhappy with the residual contour defects. In order to achieve her desired outcomes and breast profile, we performed a complex redo breast lift with different sized implants and a small breast reduction on the left. We placed Allergan INSPIRA High Profile Silicone Gel implants in the subpectoral (dual-plane) position: 345cc on the left and 365cc on the right. For her abdomen, we had discussed that she was not a candidate for redo liposuction. In order to achieve her goals and correct the pre-existing contour defects from the prior liposuction, repair her umbilical hernia, plicate her diastasis recti, and revise her c-section scar we performed a complex, extended lower abdominoplasty with a floating navel technique. As part of this procedure, her lap-band port was also repositioned to a more cosmetic position. We also performed VASER liposuction throughout her abdomen and waist. This 32 year-old woman from the McAllen, Texas area presented to my plastic surgery clinic requesting a Mommy Makeover. She is 5’4” tall and weighed 124 pounds. Her primary concern was the loose skin and stretch marks throughout the lower abdomen. She had a prominent diastasis recti and an umbilical hernia, which caused her discomfort. Although she had loose skin and stretch marks throughout her lower abdomen, she was very thin and had very little loose skin in the upper abdomen. This 44 year-old woman from the McAllen, Texas area presented to my plastic surgery clinic requesting a Mommy Makeover. She had lost 70 pounds with diet and exercise. She is 5’7” tall and weighed 161 pounds pre-operatively. As part of her Mommy Makeover, we performed a full tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with plication of her diastasis recti to restore her abdominal contour, VASER liposuction to her flanks and outer thighs, and a breast augmentation with peri-areolar mastopexy (i.e. a Donut breast lift with implants). We placed 330cc implants overfilled to 340cc bilaterally.
