This 32 year-old woman from the McAllen, Texas area presented to my plastic surgery clinic requesting a Mommy Makeover. She is 5’4” tall and weighed 124 pounds. Her primary concern was the loose skin and stretch marks throughout the lower abdomen. She had a prominent diastasis recti and an umbilical hernia, which caused her discomfort. Although she had loose skin and stretch marks throughout her lower abdomen, she was very thin and had very little loose skin in the upper abdomen. As part of her mommy makeover, we performed a tummy tuck with liposuction(see Tummy Tuck photo gallery) to her flanks and an inframammary breast augmentation(see Breast Augmentation photo gallery). Because of the lack of skin from the upper abdomen, we used an advanced closure technique to keep her tummy tuck scar low, under minimal tension, and also repaired her umbilical hernia. For her breast augmentation, we used Mentor 450cc Moderate Plus Profile Silicone Gel implants placed in the subpectoral (dual plane) bilaterally. She was a 34B and is now a 34D. Her results are shown at 3 months. Her weight is down to 118 pounds, and she loves her cosmetic surgery results.
